Rick Springfield is BACK with Hit “What’s Victoria Secret” on Regis and Kelly!

Singer Rick Springfield is back with “What’s Victoria Secret” which he performed on the Regis and Kelly show on 7/29/08.

I LOVE this song!

The song starts out sounding like his old hit “Jesse’s Girl” and than is even BETTER!

If you missed the live performance HERE IT IS!

This song really IS fantastic – it IS better than Jessie’s Girl – it’s sweet, it rocks, has power pop to please to perfection and gives a little humor with a musical “nod” to Jessie’s Girl. All fun, all good and all Rick Springfield. Love that song – the whole cd Venus in Overdrive is terrific!

I couldn’t agree with you more! Rick has a good sense of humor with himself and others, and I thought it was nice how he added the riff for a bit of nostalgia. This is a really cool pop song. To be honest though…it had to grow on me moreso than some of the others, even though it’s catchy. It’s a great album starter, but I think there are others on VIO that could be even bigger hits than WVS. This whole CD is worth hearing…over and over again. If you like Rick Springfield, or even if you’re not sure if you like RS, you should take a listen to the entire CD. It’s got some deep & meaningful lyrics and rockin’ guitar and hooks. 🙂

This CD is full of incredible hit songs & gems. I think it’s way better than most of what’s on radio today. My 2 favorite CD’s of the moment are Venus In Overdrive and Songs from the Sparkle Lounge. I love seeing old favorites bringing it back to us…full force. Way to go Rick and the guys for charting this CD!!! Rick hasn’t stopped writing music, but it’s just been a long time since he’s been in the “spotlight.” It’s a fun time for Rick’s fans!
